There are also a wide range of different urban streetwear clothing brands which means that is a lot of competition. This has been a good thing though as the consumer is the one that benefits. In order to make it in this stay ahead of the crowd. As a result the clothing has become more individual with colourful artwork and innovations in looks.
Volcom Clothing is an urban streetwear brand that produce snow, skate and surf wear. Volcom Clothing began way back in 1991 when two life long friends, Richard Woolcott and Tucker Hall, took a snowboarding holiday. They discussed the idea of starting a sports company that would produce snowboarding, surf and skate wear. The Volcom Clothing line has since expanded to include the Volcom Snow clothing and accessories range.
Even though Volcom are considered a surf label, they are really more of a urban streetwear clothes label.nbsp; They use similar art techniques that street artists use.nbsp; For this reason you often find that their t-shirts feature graffiti designs that look like they have been sprayed straight on to the clothing using spray paint.
The Volcom Snow range of snowboard clothing is extremely popular with both snowboarders and urban streetwear lovers.nbsp; This is not surprising as the idea of the brand came about whilst the two founders were on a snowboarding trip.nbsp; They make a range of snowboarding jackets and trousers as well as accessories like goggles and ski lift pass holders.
Paul Frank is a clothes label from California.nbsp; It was started by a young designer called Paul Frank and his buddy Ryan. The brand is known because of its colourful characters that feature on the clothes and accessories.nbsp; The most well known is Julius, the chimp that is the face of the label.
