My cats got fleas one time and we can totally assure you that there wont be a next time. The ordeal was terrible! We never had a cat that had fleas prior to this so we did not know very well what was going on. We had not a clue that our kitty was totally infested with fleas. She was eating typically and we did not really notice her scratching. I saw some thing crawl across her body around her head one day and had no idea exactly what it was. I failed to think that my cat could possibly have be infected. She never even will go outside. Well, she did. She needed cat frontline.
The dog most likely offered all of them to her. We were confident when the canine had been infected. We understood what to do. We got him some medicine. We though the meds would eliminate the fleas. Nope. Didn’t happen. Those that were stupid enough to stick around did. But there were a handful of smart fleas in the bunch. A few those critters that knew that the great times all said and done. They promptly measured up the kitty and jumped ship. Those critters were onto my kitty like mold on a shower curtain.
They wasted virtually no time creating her dismal. The dog was getting better quick. Certainly he was. The creatures on the dog were either dropping dead or leaping ship.
Poor cat. At least we can identify the signs and symptoms and are a little bit more cautious with our cats and kittens general wellbeing. We will never permit that to take place once more. The easiest way to understand is by screwing things up. Too bad for the kitty we needed to screw my kitty up.
