Because of their popularity, these two scale ranges have become a standard measurement for a margin of model train collectors. 00 scale is popular in Europe, particularly in the UK. In the US and Canada, the popular scale among aficionados is H0.

A lot of their products are modeled after popular steam and diesel locomotives of different models and classes.
